Cappa London Town
Occorrente:
300 gr di lana
Ferri 8
Avviare 50 maglie e lavorare come segue:
1°, 3° ferro: *10 maglie a Dir, 2 maglie a Rov, 6 maglie a Dir, 2 maglie a Rov* ripetere da *a* e terminare con 10 maglie a Dir
2°, 4° 6° ferro *10 maglie a Rov, 2 maglie a Dir, 6 maglie e Rov, 2 maglie a Dir* ripetere e terminare con 10 maglie a Rov
5° ferro: *10 maglie a Dir, 2 maglie a Rov, tenere in sospeso sul davanti le prime 3 maglie, lavorare le 3 maglie successive a Dir, riportare sul ferro le 3 in sospeso e lavorarle a Dir (per creare la treccia), 2 maglie a Rov* ripetere da *a* per due volte e terminare con 10 maglie a Dir.
Ripetere la serie di 6 ferri fino a raggiungere la lunghezza di 1 mt. Chiudere le maglie e cucire con le maglie di avvio. Affrancare i fili e indossare!
La misura della mia cappa è considerata per essere indossata sul cappotto, se volete indossarla su un abito accorciate la lavorazione di conseguenza. La mia (una volta cucita e quindi ripiegata a metà) è 50cm per 50cm, anche se i bordi arrotolandosi un po' riducono l'altezza a 35cm.

Somebody asked me how to knit my grey capelet. It is a very simple project, but it turns out nice!
Everybody knows how much I love London, so I decided to dedicate my first pattern to the its shades of grey.
London Town capelet
You need:
300 gr yarn
needles n.8 (us11)
Cast on 50 sts and knit as follow:
row 1,3: *knit 10, purl 2, knit 6, purl 2,*, repeat from* to* then knit 10
row 2,4,6: *purl 10, knit 2, purl 6, knit 2,* repeat from * to* then purl 10
row 5: *knit 10, purl 2, hold 3, knit 3 then knit the 3 you have hold (to create the cable), purl 2,*, repeat from* to* then knit 10
repeat these 6 row until your work is 1 mt long. Cast off sts, join end of work with the beginning and there you are!
I made my capelet to wear it on my coat, if you want to wear it on a dress make it shorter to reduce width. Enjoy!
